Snowboarding season is right around the corner and its time to pull out my Burton Feather 143, (along with Lexa binding and boots, & all burton gear pants, jacket, beanie, gloves, and a cool helmet that's got built in speakers for ipod & cell phone pick up while boarding... all came at a hefty price take of $1400+) out of the closet to put on that $550+ car rack that the boyfriend got for me...

the gear is now officially out of season being one year old but last season was the bomb & aboslutely priceless... & i know this year will be even better...

besides... ill have to go more often to prove the lower cost per use with every increasing time I go up there...

so far im lookin to go the first weekend in January but I'm hoping to make it up a few times before then, anyone game?

Wow its been a long time since updating!  The low-down? working, taking time off to relax around thanksgiving... saw Gwen Stefani & the Harujuku girls in concert, got smashed at the holiday party which was semi-regretable, saw Aqualung in concert, saw the Nutcracker in nose-bleed seats but it was the best deal...

and now I am in JAPAN!!!  yes, JAPAN!

yes it's for work & i had to get my passport rushed but heck it's all good.  I'm in Akasaka area in Tokyo and been to Ginza so far... but will be goin to Akihabara tonight for some electronics, Kamakura tomorrow to visit the big Buddha, shrines & temples, and of course hit up Harajuku, Shibuya, Shinjuku, and downtown Tokyo.

hope i get better... anyone wanna go snoboarding the weekend of Dec 17-18?  my bro & i are heading up if i am not terribly sick.... i got all my own gear this year... check it out, @ Burton Feather snowboard in red, Esmerelda boots & Lexa bindings in champagne... i know, so asian, ill be lookin hot falling on my ass so i better learn quick this year.

wow its been a looong time again.  Mexico in August was wonderful with a few days experiencing the culture in Guadalajara & the neighoring towns in Jalisco- the only state in the entire world allowed to make Tequila!

then we were in puerto vallarta for a week walking around the town, chilling at our villa with private pool & view of the whole PV bay, going to secluded beaches like Punta de Mita and Playas les Animas... and word to the wise, do not go to Yelapa, it's a rip, the water wasnt even clear.

Turnig 25 isnt anything special either.  i finally made it on 8/22 & im so glad to be happy & not going through a quarter life crisis, thanks to my better half who completes me more than i could ever imagine, if you havent met him yet, call me! =P

NYC over labor day weekend was the freakin bomb, thank you Nhung for being a wonderful host.  Asia de Cuba had the best food & drinks, the statue of liberty was cool, and so was time square and RENT.... the best was seeing Kim Cljisters and Roger Federer in the same evening session at the US OPEN, what a great match with Federer & Olivia, only second best to Agassi and Blake!

Training in Chicago was cool but all the traveling has me tired.  This weekend was pretty restful... im ready for a week of hardcore work, with a few fun things in between like the Decemberist & Arcade Fire concerts this week... then back to dallas for training and then off to Austin for the cool music festival next week, yay!

after that, it will be tough work til thanksgiving/xmas... whoa, im gonna pay for it.
